Joining Instructions

Royal Marines Association picJoining our Branch of the Royal Marines Association is easy.  At Wolverhampton, we meet at 8pm every third Friday of every month in the bar of the Royal Air Force Association building, 26 Goldthorn Road, Penn, Wolverhampton WV2 4PN.

All you need to do is turn up, get to know us and our Chairman Chris Townsend who will chat to you about what we do and what’s happening throughout the year.  We always say, you get out of it what you put in but no one is under any obligation to do anything, if all you want is a quiet drink and chat we are more than happy to see you and it’s always great chatting to mates anyway.

If you are thinking, ‘Do I have to join straight away?’ the answer is no, try us a few times first as a guest.  The rules are; to join a Branch you must first join the RMA, this costs £10 a year and you get all the benefits that the RMA offers.  Hard copy forms are available from the Branch Secretary.  Branch fees are £5 per year to cover our admin costs which are payable in March at the AGM.

Why not join as a virtual member our facebook group;  Royal Marines Association Wolverhampton iBranch.  Keeping in touch wherever you are in the world.

e-mail [email protected] if you have any questions.  OAMAAM.

    Dear Sirs,
Just to let you know that on the 25th April 2015 we will be dedicating the Cockleshell Heroes memorial seat and plaques commemorating HMS Tuna, the Royal Marines and the French people who helped the marines.

This will take place in the Allied Special Forces Memorial Grove at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire DE13 7AR.

This is an open event and everyone is welcome.
